First Issue Self-Publishing Book Fair for Design and Art

October 12, 2011

Now, after App Store and E-Book, we are returning to print. Parallel to the Frankfurt Book Fair, young designers, artists and authors will display printed publications and artfully crafted collectibles which are created, published and sold by themselves. The program is accompanied by a conference that offers speeches by Peter Gorschlüter, Head of Frankfurt Museum für Moderne Kunst, German publishers Kai Rabenau (mono.kultur) and Jan Wetzel (Spector Books) as well as the Swiss designer and issuer Urs Lehni (Rollo Press). Roland Früh and students of the master study program Werklpaats Typografie in Arnheim will display their project “Facsimile Library.” Exhibitions, live-actions and music round off the forum.
