With its new theme “Garden of the Future”, the Palmengarten explores the role of sustainability in shaping tomorrow’s gardens. The newly opened Information Center in the Kleine Galerie at the Palmenhaus presents interactive stations that approach the topic from different perspectives – from the UN Sustainable Development Goals and practical examples in the Palmengarten and Botanical Garden to everyday actions.

Visitors can discover their personal “climate plant,” share their own visions for the Palmengarten of the future, and engage in talks and workshops. Sustainability here becomes tangible – as a principle that can shape all areas of life and is developed together with the public.
